Telehealth In Florida, Massachusetts & Connecticut

Hello!  I’m Andrea R. Arauco, I’m a Licensed Therapist and Founder of Mamay In Bloom Counseling.  My goal is to empower, support, and help you control mental obstacles as well as conquer the challenges you can experience through your own unique experiences.  My private practice provides counseling services via a secure Telehealth platform.  I specialize in treating teens/young adults, new moms through pregnancy and postpartum, and women’s life transitions. In addition to the above, I’m also a qualified supervisor for registered clinical social work interns throughout the state of Florida, Connecticut and Massachussets.

In the past, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings, including outpatient therapy in public and private schools, as well as hospitals and non-profit organizations.  I truly believe in a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.  I focus on the person as a whole, which means looking at the person’s present and past in order to help strengthen their best version of themselves.  Research shows that the most important factor in counseling is the actual therapeutic relationship itself.  I firmly believe in this which is why I think that being transparent and genuine is key in building a good therapeutic alliance.

Fun Details about Andrea

It’s important for me to share some pieces of myself not directly related to my training but rather me as a person. I’m a mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.  I love exercising, watching documentaries, drinking healthy shakes as well as my morning green tea, and sharing time with people who lift me up, empower me, and truly support who I am.  My life is full, busy, and energetic, so I work hard daily to practice the strategies which keep it balanced and meaningful.  I learned to live my life by not avoiding things that are difficult and instead addressing them while moving through them.

I’m passionate about what I do and I’m committed to give you 100% of myself.  In our sessions, you will learn skills for coping, building confidence, and effective communication.  You will also practice mindfulness and self care. Learning how to set boundaries and reflecting on situations with a difference lens.  Practicing self love and compassion.  During our sessions is the time where you can truly express what you really feel without fear; it’s a safe place where processing will be taking place and the more transparent you are, the better.  I respect and value the opportunity to assist and support my clients thrive.  Helping the child, new mother, new parents, and/or women tell their story, feel worthy and know there is someone listening is very important to me.

If this resonates with you and you feel this is something you or your child needs, don’t wait, call, text or e-mail me today!
